The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and can shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should fulfill the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house with a combined gross family earnings that does not exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined home profits isn't going to exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from click here households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to offer the correct Identification Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are researching or plan to study in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
